Board of Education to Vote on New Boundaries for
2015-16 at Its April 28 Meeting

The Moline School District Board of Education will vote on district
boundaries to coincide with the opening of the new Hamilton School for the
2015-16 School Year at its regularly scheduled April 28 Board meeting. The
meeting will be held at the Coolidge Professional Development Room, 3430
23rd Avenue, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

On April 14, the Boundaries Committee presented the Board with two final
options for consideration at the April 28 meeting. A recent press release,

District Clarifies Recent Public Misconceptions about
Renovation and Expansion of Hamilton School
The issue of renovating and expanding Hamilton School and closing Ericsson
and Garfield Schools has garnered much public attention as of late.
Unfortunately, the majority of the information that has been circulating is inaccurate.  The district encourages all residents to read the plan itself to gain a better understanding of district goals and priorities, including the rationale for the Hamilton project. A recent press release on the project is available
here. The Operational Plan can be accessed at this link. Information on the district's Strategic Plan from 2006-2011 is available by clicking this link, and includes a wealth of information on the district's long range plan for facilities.

 Moline School District response to ruling on Metropolitan Airport Authority
