Red Ribbon Week - students celebrated October 20-24

Red Ribbon Week was celebrated October 20-24 in all of the Moline schools. Students participated in activities focusing on the positive message of remaining drug free and continuing to learn in school to succeed as adults.

Mikey the Medic visited Hamilton Elementary School students during
“Career Day” as part of Red Ribbon Week.

A police officer also visited students during Career Day at Hamilton.

The Quad-City Flames visited Washington Elementary School during Red Ribbon Week. The players signed autographs and gave the students a message of staying in school and to not use drugs in order to succeed in the world.  

Students were able to meet the Quad-City Flames mascot Firestorm.
