Bucks and Bluestockings is a young author’s club open to any seventh and eighth grade student who is interested in writing for enjoyment and/or publication. The purpose of this group is to encourage quality student writing and provide exposure of student work to various audiences. This organization sponsors writing contests at various times during the school year for the entire student body. Opportunities are provided for student members to publish their work and read their work to various groups within the community such as senior citizens and elementary school children. Meetings are held once a month.
