
The Student Congress is Wilson's student government. Mr. Juenger, the 8 black history teacher, holds a weekly meeting in his classroom on Friday mornings at 7:20 a.m. Meetings are also held as called for to discuss special topics and events. Elections are held for 8th grade officers in early May of their 7th grade year. All representatives and alternates are elected in the fall of each school year.

Wilson's Student Congress members participate in many special projects throughout the school year. A Christmas activity for needy families, Gifts of Gold, is sponsored by the Student Council. The Winter Wonderland dance is held in January and is also sponsored by Student Congress. Members also earn money which helps purchase various items for Wilson Middle School. In the past, the Student Council has earned money to purchase a TV, VCR, audio equipment and ceiling fans.
