WAY COOL STEM SCIENCE CLUB: There will be an informational meeting about the Science Club on Tuesday, August 28th from 3:15-4 p.m. in Mrs. Fowler’s classroom (A129). Please attend this meeting if you are interested in joining the club. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Fowler or Mr. Strafford (A105).
CRIMESTOPPERS: Applications for Crimestoppers are in the office.
PAW PRINT: Attention Wildcats! If you enjoy writing, art, and photography, pick up an application for the Paw Print newspaper staff. Applications are available from Mrs. Dailey (A111) or from Mrs. Luebbers (Library). The deadline is Friday, August 24th. Join the fun!
CULINARY ARTS CLUB: Culinary Arts Club is an after-school cooking club sponsored by Mrs. Brorby and Chef Rich Smice. All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students may apply to be in this club. You may pick up the applications outside Mrs. Brorby’s room . Mrs. Brorby and Chef Smice will select 14 students from each grade to participate this year. Applications are due by the end of school on Wednesday, August 29th.
MORNING COFFEE CLUB: Attention Wildcat readers…Invitations to join the Morning Coffee Club were handed out in your English or Language Arts class. If you did not receive one and are interested in joining, please see Mrs. Smice (C205). Forms must be returned to Mrs. Smice by Friday, August 24th.
WILSON LANYARDS: They will be on sale in the rec before school. The cost is $3.00.
BOOKSTORE: The Wildcat Bookstore is open. For those students new to Wilson, the bookstore is located on the first floor in the main hall outside the nurse’s office. The bookstore sells notebook paper, pencils, pens, granola bars, graph paper and folders. Stop by and say hello! We will be open before school until 7:55 a.m. and after school until 3:30 p.m.
GIRLS TENNIS: There will be a brief informational meeting starting at 3:30 p.m. TOMORROW, Thursday, August 23rd in room C109. Any questions, ask Ms. Hanne.
CROSS COUNTRY: Attention to all who are interested in running cross country this season…. it is already time to begin! Any runners (new and returning) interested in coming out for this year’s Wildcat team should write their names and shirt sizes on the sign-up sheet outside Mr. Perkins’ door (Room A134 at the end of the science wing hallway). There are no cuts and everyone will have many chances to run in meets during the season! This means 6th graders too. You WILL be able to run in races as non-scorers! We have team breakfasts and quite a bit of fun during the season! It is very important that all interested students get signed up and come to the informational meeting TOMORROW, Thursday, August 23rd after school from 3:10–3:40 p.m. in the cafeteria.
