GROUPS: The Legends meet at 11:22, The Five Brutal Dinasaurs meet at 12:10, The Five Fantastic Purple Smileys meet at 2:40.

ACADEMIC TEAM: meets this week on Thursday, Jan. 8 and again on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 3:10 until 4:00 in room 108.

7TH & 8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL: Any 7th or 8th grade boy who played on the Wilson Basketball team this year will need to turn their uniforms Wednesday after school in Mr. Johnson’s room (117). This includes the practice jerseys.

8TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL: Any 8th grade girl interested in trying out for basketball needs to attend a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, January 7th at 7:30 in room 214.

STUDENT CONGRESS: We have a meeting this Friday at 7:30am. It is important! It will be our only meeting before the Winter Wonderland dance. We need posters made for the dance.

GEOGRAPHY BEE: Anyone interested in the Geography Bee needs to sign up outside Ms. Mulcahy’s room 105. The Bee is this Wednesday, period 1.

PEER HELPERS AND MEDIATORS: We have a meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 7th at 7:20am in room 215. We will have our “Welcome Back” meeting.

WAY COOL SCIENCE CLUB: Our next meeting will be on Monday, January 12th. Please note that this is a date change for this month. Any questions? See Mrs. Fowler in room 202.

YEARBOOK: There are 667 students and staff members here at Wilson. Only 349 yearbooks have been ordered at this point. (teachers – refer to and post the lists for Per. 1 Yearbook Sales) Now, based on these numbers I have told our publisher to print 450 books instead of our usual 500. That means over 200 people will be disappointed at the end of the school year. I will continue to take payments for the remaining 101 yearbooks on a first come-first served basis. Mrs. McKee
