Worldbook Online (Access from Home or School)

"In our continuing efforts to improve, and stay current with information access, District 40 has recently purchased a license for World Book online. This is a marvelous, web based encyclopedia from a trusted old company, in both English and Spanish, that includes a dictionary, atlas, and both traditional, and student friendly versions. Articles are updated constantly, and link to pictures, sound files, and web articles. It uses keyword searching, and features full text articles, with citation assistance.

World Book can be accessed in the "For parents" drop down menu on our District site. It can be used any where there is Internet access. " Carolyn Mesick (District Library Chair)

Ask your teachers or librarian for the log in codes to access Worldbook Online.

Gifts of Gold

Each school year at the end of November, the Student Congress "Gifts of Gold" project begins. Canned goods are collected for other Wilson families during the holidays. The canned goods are placed on the traditional wooden tree in the lobby of Wilson Middle School.
