Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten pre-registration and open house will be held at all Moline-Coal Valley elementary schools on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Parents, along with their student(s) that will begin kindergarten in the 2023-2024 school year, should attend. Children that will be age five on or before September 1, 2023 are eligible to begin school in the 2023-2024 school year. 

Parents are asked to call their child's school ahead of time to begin the pre-registration process before attending on April 20, 2023. Parents should also bring a certified birth certificate to the event. Please contact your child's school with specific questions (see list of schools below).
 
Following the April 20th kindergarten pre-registration and open house, parents should begin the online enrollment process for their child. Parents must also attend the formal district registration event to complete the registration process and verify residency. This year's formal registration event will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 10 am - 8 pm. Location to be determined (please check back). 2022-2023 School Year Information 
NEW kindergarten students for the current 2022-2023 school year are invited to enroll through our new Student Intake Center located at the district administration building called Allendale. Our Student Intake Center offers one-stop convenience for all families with students at different levels. Families will be able to complete enrollment paperwork, verify residency, learn about special programs and support services, and more. Flexible appointments are available.  Please contact Mrs. Zamora at 309-743-8102 for enrollment information and to schedule an appointment. 

The Student Intake Center is open each year from early September through the end of May. Enrollments in June, July and August will be completed at the district's in-person registration event held at the beginning of August. This year's registration event (for the 2023-2024 school year) will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10 am - 8 pm. Location to be determined.

If your student attended any of the preschool programs hosted by Moline at any of the elementary schools or the Jefferson Early Learning Center you will need to register as a returning student.  Click here to login to your Skyward family access account. As a returning student, you will not need to verify residency at the District formal registration event in August.
