Hi, my name is Lyric. I work at the helpdesk and now for the school’s newspaper. I edit the writing/poetry section and for this, I need people to put in entries. You could contact Ms.Young in room 36 or me, Lyric Howard. For the newspaper,  I could put you in anonymously, or with your name. Here is a short piece someone put in anonymously:

My name is something weird

it identifies me after my looks

it’s something that gets you hooked

when you call, of course, I look

it’s something that teachers mess up

it’s my history

my name is all of me.

So submit your writing to Ms. Young if you want to see it in the school’s paper.
