Textbook Adoptions

The Moline-Coal Valley School District is excited to adopt a new Math curriculum for grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. Being a large unit district it is important to provide our teachers and students consistency and continuity for both elementary and middle school levels. One way we ensure this happens is to adopt a single rigorous and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of both levels. Our goal is to have the process complete by the Fall of 2023.  We have formed a committee of educators that includes all grades and categories of students that the curriculum will benefit. The first meeting is on October 5, 2021. We know not everyone can be part of the process or serve on a committee, however, we are committed to full transparency throughout the entire process. Thus, we will be sharing the committee's agenda and details of the process in a Google Slides presentation.
