Facilities Long-Term Vision
The District Facilities Committee is the result of efforts by citizens and staff that came together monthly starting in January and ending in May 2021. The committee’s goal was to make recommendations that will provide a vision for future decisions as they relate to facilities that are in response to guidelines established for improving instruction and will be most conducive to student learning in our district. The recommendations provide guidance for long-term projects* and land acquisition decisions.
There is no financial commitment and these recommendations do not prevent present or future boards of education from rejecting or making revisions for future decisions.
*It is important to emphasize that these are long-term recommendations and that any future action taken by the Board of Education would involve further analysis and discussion.
Actions and recommendations will be posted below as they are approved by the district administration and the Moline-Coal Valley School Board.
