Current Campus Safety
Current Campus Safety
The Moline-Coal Valley School District has developed both district-level and school-level safety plans in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Our District works closely with the Moline Police and Moline Fire Departments to be sure that we have a comprehensive plan in the case of an emergency. School officials have been trained to deal with emergencies as well.
The mission of each of these safety procedures is to:
- Provide a safe and secure environment for students and staff
- Take immediate action in the event of an emergency
- Provide safe and reliable recovery after an emergency
Comprehensive School Safety Plans
Each school within the Moline-Coal Valley School District has plans which outline specific procedures and personnel to lead the building in the event of a school lockdown, evacuation, and reunification.
Emergency Preparation
In the event of a school-related emergency, parents/guardians and staff will be notified via Remind messages, the district website, and if needed, individual school websites. Information and directions will be provided to parents/caregivers as available as the emergency progresses.
